Important goals of TLH Preschool program is to enable children to acquire social skills and learning-related abilities. Although beneficial for all children, TLH program is essential for children in disadvantage groups, guiding them toward healthier development and giving them the tools they need before primary school.
TLH Preschool program gives early childhood education and care for children, and help them build up a range of skills that make them ready to learn when they start school, such as:
- Social Skills: the capacity to understand interface effectively with their peer group, and also relate easily to adults.
- Language Skills: the capacity to have sufficient language abilities in order to benefit from experiences facilitating their cognitive, educational and social development.
- Emotional Self-Regulation Skills: the ability to adapt behaviours depending on the situation, to control impulses and to shift attention.
- Executive Function Skills: the capacity to hold and control data in the mind, plan and regulate one’s behaviour, problem-solve, and be creative.

Kids often learn through play and through manipulation of toys. It helps nourish the full potential of the kid’s development. We create student centered classroom environment and design our lesson according to VAK learning method. VAK stands for visual, auditory and kinesthetic. It gives opportunity to enhance their cognitive skills, fine-motor skills and gross motor skills.

Grade Pre – K
We nurture the artistic spirit of the kid and prepare a visually appealing art environment that sets the child’s creativity in motion. We focus on writing formation, pencil grip and phonics. Once phonics are taught, the kids learn sound blends and then move onto the family words. In Pre-K kids also get to know about the sight words and how synthetic phonics can be combined with the CVC letters.

Grade KG
Students learn comprehension skills/strategies to gain meaning and understanding of the texts. Reading, writing, listening and speaking are integrated, connected skills that build upon each other in Kindergarten. Students learn to segment, blend, identify the sounds in spoken words and learn to decode and recode CVC words as well as learn numerous sight words. They use a variety of strategies to read words, sentences and simple texts.
